Today was one of those mornings when all the toys we own were completely uninteresting. L didn’t even look at his shelf. I pulled out some crayons and a paper but even that wasn’t interesting enough to catch his attention for more than 30 seconds.
Setting up a “Shredded paper play”
So I decided to shred the paper and I grabbed an empty Pringles container that was standing on the table from last night. Honestly, I didn’t have an exact plan what will we do with this but I wanted to see where it will take us 🙂 and then the fun started!
First, L was excited just to touch and throw shredded paper. He was waving with it, throwing it in the air, and laughing to crunchy sounds it made. After that, he became really focused and tried to put paper strips into the container. Seriously, I didn’t even think that shredded paper would bring us an hour of fun. After we were finished, L helped to clean up the mess we made.
